Crowd Simulation

with 2 comments

A crowd simulation script for XSI. An export script made it easy for the animators to export their animations in the point oven format to a general database. The crowd simulation script then generates the crowd using the various animation. Some testrenders:

  1. Jo,

    Superb!

The different variations make the agents move in a very realistic way. (Though I’m certainly not an expert on crowd simulation, I can see it works very well.) You could even use these birds for a video clip without any other modelling or texturing, as they’re quite funny!

I’ve watched the other clips as well and i’m very impressed. Will post frequently now I have found your great blog.

Great music too by the way.

    cheers,

    Willem
